 Bhanu Puraskar for Pawan Chamling ‘Kiran’

     Gangtok, June 24, 2010: The Executive Members of the Nepali Sahitya Parishad, Sikkim have decided to confer the Bhanu Puraskar 2010 to Shri Pawan Chamling ‘Kiran’ in recognition of his substantial contribution to development Nepali language and literature and also for his literary works as a poet, writer, lyricist, editor and publisher.

An NSP Press Release issued by its President, BK Roka, informs that Pawan Chamling ‘Kiran’ has been selected for the Bhanu Puraskar this year for his ‘life-time consistency to development of Nepali literature’. The Award will be conferred during the Bhanu Jayanti celebrations in Gangtok on July 13, 2010.
