Chief Minister Shri Pawan Chamling reaches Tirupati, offers

 prayer at Balaji Temple

Gangtok, July 8, 2010:
    The Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Pawan Chamling offered morning prayer today at Balaji Temple, the seat of Lord Balaji Venkataswaram or the Vishnu Swarup. The temple located at Tirumala, 21km from Tirupati is famous among its devotees and also a prominent pilgrimage site in Andhra Pradesh.
     During the holy darshan, the Chief Minister and Smt. Chamling offered prayer for the well being, good health and happiness of the people of Sikkim and prayed for the holy blessing. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Shri RS Basnet, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Dr. MR Kotwal, the Medical Advisor to CM.
